Klein Karoo: Anysberg and surrounds
Take in the incredible scenery of the Anysberg Nature Reserve and region, climb mountains, cross rivers and get a real feel of the Klein Karoo region and what it has to offer. A mix of some tar, but mostly gravel and mountain tracks some steep and broken so 4x4 required, Accommodation can be self catering camping and/or self catering chalet or combination of both.
Groot Karoo
Get a feel for the Moordernaars Karoo, between Laignsburg and Sutherland, wild camp on the Buffels river, spot Verreaux’s Eagles, and travel the wide open backroads of this incredible part of the Groot Karoo. Mostly gravel road and some 4x4 tracks. 4x4 vehicle recommended depending on trip plan. Accommodation self catering camping and or chalet or combination of both.
Coastal Karoo to Groot Karoo
Start on the shores of the world famous Garden Route and wind your way up the dirt roads of the Prince Alfred’s Pass, to the distant Kamanassie mountains. Take 4x4 tracks to the top of the mountain for forever views, before moving on through the quaint village of De Rust, past world beating Olive farms and up the south face of the massive Swartberg mountains, Drop down into the beautiful town of Prince Albert and all it has to offer. Accomodation self catering camping and or chalet with or without arranged meals where available.
